Light shapes the matter, it gives it dynamism through a process of dimming and concealing.
It leads our eyes to the exploration of the real world, while transforming it.
It is fluctuating, it gets into the objects and lights them up with truth, it modulates the spaces and it spreads among them, leading our sight towards a new perception of things.
The main aim of the photographer is indeed to get to know and to love light, to render its beauty through creative forms that appear new every time we look at them.
My professional development started simply like that: spilling colour on different surfaces exposed to sunlight. It was my first attempt at translating the relationship between light, colour, matter and shapes into photography.
